The DCM YES provides high quality education, wherein the focus is on enquiry and discovery, which ensures lifelong learning. Our teachers are “Facilitators”, who guide students in their learning, by providing them with hands-on experiences that not only generate interest, but also foster creativity. Out – of – the – box thinking is encouraged and it motivates students to approach situations and problems from different perspectives. This, in turn, develops in them a thirst for knowledge and the skill of self-learning.
With a maximum of 30 students in a class, we have a whole school teacher-student ratio of 1:20 and 4 to 6 regular sections are there.
The streams we are offering are MEDICAL & BIOLOGICAL SCIENCES, ENGG. & PHYSICAL SCIENCES, COMMERCE & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT – PROFESSIONAL, COMMERCE & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT – FMM, COMMERCE & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT - BANKING & INSURANCE, COMMERCE & BUSINESS MANAGEMENT – ENTREPRENEURSHIP, HUMANITIES & GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES-REGULAR, HUMANITIES & GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES-LEGAL STUDIES, HUMANITIES & GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES-LIBERAL ARTS, HUMANITIES & GLOBAL PERSPECTIVES- PUBLIC POLICY. There are many subject combinations available under these streams, but the final decision on the subject selection will be decided based on criteria like competency and aptitude of the student, number of students etc.
Admission to Grade XI will be based on the student’s performance in the Preliminary Exams of Grade X or the results of the Board Exam, if the student is from a different board and also DART Result will be considered. we also provide coaching for competitive exams as well as teach CBSE Curriculum thoroughly.
No, it is not necessary to join any coaching for Engg./Medical entrances preparation. But without any professional guidance, it is very difficult to crack these competitive exams. Coaching is required to provide the right concepts, to clear the doubtful areas, to help you in balancing school studies with competitive exam preparation and to guide you in facing the toughness of these exams.
Yes, it’s definitely possible to manage school & competitive exams preparation together. It will involve hard work, consistency and discipline but it will pay you highly in the long run.
DCM will offer you an exhaustive and in depth coverage of syllabus along with complete study material, testing & evaluation system, competitive environment, library facility etc. Other Institutes will only provide you with spoon fed learning. Moreover coaching in DCM itself will save lot of time that goes waste in commuting from one tuition to other or from coaching centre.
In cases where the new candidates do not submit all the required documents or do not visit the school for an interaction, the admission will be given on a Provisional basis. When all required formalities are completed, the Admission will be regularized
We have tied up with external agencies which are certified in Career Guidance to conduct regular sessions & programmes in school for the same, for all students of Grade IX upwards. Regular webinars are organized with reputed universities and achievers from that industry/trade for giving guidance to the students.
We have a full-fledged Pastoral Care Department, which comprises of Counselors and Remedial Teachers who take care of our students who require extra support. Students with emotional and behavioral issues are referred to the Counselors, who work in tandem with the teachers and parents of the student, to help them overcome their problems. Students who are weak in academics or those who have Learning Difficulties are referred to the Remedial Teachers, who teach them individually, or in small groups, using special remedial techniques. Students who have severe problems, who are enrolled in the Special Needs Remedial programme, are informally assessed and Personalized Education Plans are made for them.
There are periodic tests in both Descriptive and Objective types – like Weekly Tests, Bi-weekly Tests, Monthly Tests and Cumulative Objective Tests. The performance of the students is critically analyzed by the Central Office and proper directives are issued to better the performance of the students and orient them towards their goals constantly. With the help of Pre-designed Software for the purpose, the performance of the students is analyzed after every exam to identify the areas to be improved, taking individual student as a unit.
The school offers Athletics, Cricket, Lawn Tennis, Skating, Basketball, Handball, Archery, Volleyball, Gymnastics, Golf, Table Tennis and Taekwondo Swimming & Shooting are on the anvil.
All students are constantly monitored by teachers at all times – in the classroom or on the grounds. All campuses are under CCTV surveillance. There is 24X7 security at the campus gates. School buses only drop off and pick up students from inside the campus. Each student is provided with an identity card. No unauthorised worker is permitted on the premises during school hours.
Each washroom is equipped with liquid soap, health faucets and a continuous supply of running water. Parents may send along sanitizers if they so desire. Students are taught proper hygiene culture from the lower classes itself.
The school has a well-equipped First Aid room manned by a paramedic. In case of any injuries, first aid is administered, and the parent is immediately informed. In case of any issue, the student will be taken to a reputed hospital that the school has a tied up with for further action and parents will be immediately informed.
The school sends out information through the ERP, SMS, Emails, Mobile App notifications and written notes. Teachers invite the parents to school on a regular basis to provide them with information about students` progress. Formal PTMs are scheduled five to six times in a year, and parents may also seek appointments to meet with teachers.
In today’s date, competition is increasing both ways. In terms of the number of the institutes opening up and in terms of the number of aspirants who appear for competitive exams.

Separate doubt sessions are arranged at regular intervals. Also after taking due appointment the students/parents can come & meet the teachers any day.
