Junior Student Research Fellowship
DCM Group of Schools believes in the overall development of students and we thrive to offer our students an internationally competent curriculum. One such initiative is the Junior Student Research Fellowship. This program will be rolled out in the Fall 2022 to the students of YES Gr. VI onwards to prepare them to get themselves engaged in self-regulated learning practices. This program will allow our students to get directly aligned with three tiers of research supervision. First, the research mentors at school who will help the students in their day to day research activities at school and group level Chief Mentors who will extend every sort of support to the students in their research journey during school years. We will have a third tier of research supervision offered directly by University Faculty Members who are engaged in full time research works. The highlights of the program will be:
- Students will get an opportunity to come up with open questions in any field - science, literature, social sciences etc. and design a short research project.
- The duration of such projects will be generally restricted to 1 year. However, this can be extended if a particular research project shows extreme relevance and significance to pursue further.
- Selected students will be awarded a research fellowship in order to foster their out of the box thinking abilities and to promote the spirit of research among students.
- If the research work is novel, their findings will be published in peer reviewed international journals.
- Any prototypes fund commercial viability, such findings will get complete assistance in filing patents (end-to-end) and also will be transferred to our Technology Incubation Centres for potential commercial development.
- Startup fundings will be offered to the projects that will qualify the criteria set out by our scientific experts at the Technology Transfer Centers.
