The National Cadet Corps (NCC) at DCM YES School, Rajguru Nagar, Ludhiana is committed to nurturing responsible, disciplined, confident and patriotic young citizens. Through structured training, camps, community-service activities and leadership opportunities, our cadets are encouraged to develop strong character, teamwork, self-discipline and a spirit of service to the nation.

NCC at DCM YES School
The NCC unit at DCM YES School provides students with a platform to learn beyond the classroom. Cadets participate in regular NCC training, parade and drill, camps, social-service initiatives, sports and various inter-school and inter-unit activities.
Our cadets have actively participated in Annual Training Camps (ATC/CATC), Thal Sainik Camp-related activities, sports competitions, community-service programmes, awareness campaigns and various NCC events. Their achievements reflect the dedication of our cadets, instructors, school leadership and the continuous support of the school community.
Our NCC Activities
- Training & Drill: Regular parade, drill and NCC training help cadets develop discipline, coordination, confidence and leadership qualities.
- NCC Camps: Cadets participate in ATC/CATC and other training camps where they experience teamwork, self-reliance, physical training and leadership in a challenging environment.
- Sports & Competitions: NCC cadets are encouraged to participate in sports and competitive activities, developing sportsmanship, teamwork and a winning spirit.
- National & Patriotic Activities: Cadets participate in events promoting patriotism, national integration and respect for the nation.
- Community Service: Through cleanliness drives, plantation drives, awareness campaigns and other social initiatives, cadets learn the importance of giving back to society.
- Leadership & Personality Development: NCC provides opportunities for cadets to develop public speaking, anchoring, communication, teamwork and leadership skills.
